Agile Project Management, with AgilePM® Foundation and Practitioner accreditations
Overview
The Agile Project Management™ (AgilePM®) approach aims to address the needs of those working in a project-focused environment who want to be agile. It enables Project Managers to adopt a mature, scalable agile approach that can work alongside more formal project management approaches such as the PRINCE2® methodology.
AgilePM® version 3 integrates Scrum as the formally adopted product delivery methodology within the project management lifecycle. There is a stronger emphasis on collaborative leadership and the updated syllabus includes advanced guidelines for planning and coordinating across multiple project teams simultaneously.
We provide a 1-day workshop which introduces the practical application of the Agile project management methodology using a business simulation.
For those wanting to achieve the AgilePM® accreditations, Foundation and Practitioner accreditation can be achieved.
- Foundation level covers the core terminology and principles.
- Practitioner level demonstrates an understanding of how to apply the terminology and principles in a project scenario.
Who is it for?
This course is for anyone involved in managing projects in a business environment that wants to understand how to apply Agile project delivery. It is also ideal for organisations wanting to adopt a common approach for agile projects, which can be integrated with the traditional business project management approaches.
AgilePM Practical workshop
Practical application of Agile project management methodology with participants experiencing Agile by really using it in a project simulation to iteratively develop the product outcome using ‘Lego’ bricks. The course covers the concepts and principles of scrum, work together as a team, prioritising, estimating, sprints, reviews & retrospectives.
The workshop can be delivered either in 1 full day or 2 * ½ days. (This course can also be delivered within your organisation)
