PRINCE2 2017 Update Foundation and Practitioner

Overview

PRINCE2 is a process-based approach for project management providing an easily tailored and scalable method for the management of all types of projects. The method is the de-facto standard for project management in the UK and is practiced worldwide.

PRINCE2 is a flexible method that guides you through the essentials for running a successful project regardless of project type or scale. PRINCE2 can be tailored to meet your organization or industry specific requirement.

PRINCE2 Foundation 2017 Update

From January 1st 2018 Axelos will be implementing the PRINCE2 2017 Update, with an increased emphasis on:

• Tailoring PRINCE2 to the needs of organizations and project environments
• The principles that underpin PRINCE2
• Greater clarity on the link between the themes and principles
• The restructuring of the themes guidance to accommodate specific examples of tailoring
• The practical application of guidance, with numerous examples, hints, and tips.

There are two levels of PRINCE2 Accreditation;

1. PRINCE2 Foundation level

The purpose of the foundation level exam is to confirm you have sufficient knowledge and understanding of the PRINCE2 method to be able to work effectively as a member of, a project management team working within an environment supporting PRINCE2.

We deliver two options for the Foundation level;

• Foundation workshop, plus the Foundation online module and exam
• Foundation online module only and exam

2. PRINCE2 Practitioner level

PRINCE2 Practitioner accreditation is recognised as an international standard of Project Management competence. This course covers all the requirements to achieve PRINCE2 Practitioner accreditation (or re-registration).

Candidates have to achieve Foundation level before registering for Practitioner level.

We deliver two options for the Practitioner level;

• Practitioner workshop, plus the Practitioner online module and exam
• Practitioner online module only and exam.
